Almost there

Been a busy couple of weeks. Sore fingers from a lot of sanding and now sore eyes and late nights staining and painting in effort to get things ready.

Noticed a few things, I need to figure out what shape Puffins heads are and carve it simpler to that shape so it then works for adding the eye detail to it. As much as I sanded, I'm never happy things are smooth enough, sanding after 1st primer as grain raised further and then 2 further coats wasn't quite enough for totally crisp lines so I need to make sure all sanding done before the primer. Adding purple 'heather' detail to the mounds the Haggis sit on takes a very very long time and I'm not sure if it's worth it or not. I spend too much time worrying about wildcat stripes when I should really learn how to paint cats noses better.

Anyway, there's just a few final details left to add and logo stamps and UKCA marks to bases left to do and then they can all get their 3 coats of sealer before they can be made available. They're really looking quite beautiful now they're nearing the end of the making journey and go off to be played with and have many adventures.
