Currently we're working on building up stock of items we've had as prototypes or have had on the to do list for a while- the Bean Nighe/Washerwoman, Blue Man and fairies. We also hope to find time for the prototype Cormorants and Selkies as these are cut out.
We've arranged to sell at a few craft fairs this year and hope to find a few others, the first fair is Crathes Castle, Aberdeenshire 13th and 14th of May. Some of the newer items won't be available on the website until after the Crathes fair but if anyone is interested in purchasing one of these items then please get in contact. This is likely to be the Bean Nighe, Fairy, Fairy King, Pink Thistle and the 2 piece Summer bushes with only the Pink Thistle and Bean Nighe currently made.
Lots of people have liked my small one off gnomes living in grassy mounds so I am developing some ideas for mini gnomes that fit in the 2 piece bushes.
Also starting to get thought about are a couple of wildcat kittens- a pouncing one and a sitting one which I will do alongside trying to work on better cat colouring, its a very tricky colouring.
A blackhouse and a Highland Cottage façade prototype for a prototype has also worked its way onto the cutting out pile but those may end up simply being for own use or photo props.
Aim is to have the next prototypes sorted and batches of these made before summer. Too many ideas and not much time and that's before being ill or snow days have got in the way.
