Cormorants are Birds spotted both at sea and inland around the British Isles. Often spotted perched on rocks with their wings outspread to dry which is how we’ve depicted this wooden toy Cormorant figure. This handcrafted Cormorant is a great bird addition to sea themed play and other small world play scenes.
 
Made from Lime wood the cormorant figure measures approximately 7cm high, 8.2cm wide and 1.5cm thick. 
 
These pieces are cut out before hand carving to shape, hand sanding, painting and sealing making each piece a little unique and so will differ slightly from the product images. Minor wood imperfections, carving misshaping, manufacturing marks and paint errors aren’t seen as flaws but as enhancing the individual nature of each piece, please bear in mind when purchasing that each one is a hand crafted product.
 
Our items are made and tested to be UKCA conformant for those aged 3 years and over who are no longer mouthing toys, this is due to the risk of small parts forming if broken and our base wood not having been tested. You can clean you figure by wiping gently with a soft lint free slightly damp cloth and in the future occasionally applying a child safe clear wax or other EN71-3 certified finish to help protect it further.
