The Haggis is a hairy little creature who scurries up and down the scottish hills in one direction due to having one leg longer that the other. They often wear a tartan tam-shanter hat and have odd colour eyes. Some think there are actually 2 species of haggis with the second having the legs the other way around in order and run around in the other direction.

This haggis is made of Lime wood and comprises of 2 parts, the haggis itself and a mound it sits on. The total approximate size of the haggis sitting on the mound is 10cm high by 8.5cm wide at the base of the mound and 2.8cm thick. The Haggis measures approximately 6.5cm high lopsided and 6-7cm wide. The mound measures approximately 3.5-4.5cm at the highest point. Like all our products it is cut out and then hand carved and painted and so each is unique and will differ slightly from the product images shown. Minor manufacturing marks, carving misshaping and paint errors are not seen as flaws but as enhancing each pieces individual character please bear in mind you are purchasing a handmade product.

It can be wiped clean using a slightly damp lint free cloth. We recommend occasionally refinishing using a child safe clear wax or sealer to extend its protection. It is made and tested to be UKCA conformant to those aged 3 years and over who no longer mouth toys due to potential risk of small parts forming and the base wood not being tested.

Price is per set of one haggis and one mound.
