Here’s our selection of natural Beech wood Pictish Standing Stone wooden toys with Pictish motifs carved on one side. The motifs are inspired by those found on various Aberdeenshire Stones and make interesting scenery pieces for small world play. Introduce these historical Scottish Landscape features to childs play scenes to spark both imagination and interest in the history and Landscape around them.
 
Currently there are 4 options available, either individually (various prices) or as a set of all 4. These Stone shapes and motifs are available in grey painted options in a seperate listing.  These are on offer as we plan to discontinue these beech stones and only make the painted versions.

Like all our other figures it has been cut out and then handcarved to shape before hand sanding and sealing making each one a little unique and so will vary slightly from the product images shown. Please bear in mind you are purchasing a handcrafted product and minor manufacturing marks or carving misshaps are not seen as flaws but as enhancing the individuality of each piece and for the Beech wood pieces the grain pattern varies.
 
Our products are made and tested to be UKCA conformant for those aged 3 years and over who no longer mouth their toys. They can be gently wiped clean using a slightly damp lint free cloth and we would recommend occasional refinishing with a child safe EN71-3 certified clear wax or other sealer to further extend its protection. Do not give to a child if it becomes damaged or broken.
