A Redcap is a type of goblin from the Scottish borders known for its cap kept red by dipping it in the blood of their victims.  This one isn't necessarily one of those although its hat is beginning to fade, it can be any small goblin, gnome or other fairytale creature in a slightly shimmery red hat.
 
The figure is made of Lime wood and stands approximately 6.5cm high by 3cm by 2.8cm wide at the front.  All our figures are cut out and then shaped by hand carving and painting making each one a little unique in shape and look and so will differ from the photographs shown.  Minor manufacturing marks, carving misshaping and paint errors are not seen as flaws but as enhancing the individual nature of each piece, please bear in mind you are purchasing a handmade product. 
 
Items can be cleaned using a slightly damp lint free cloth and would benefit from occasionally like all wooden products being protected with a clear wax or other child safe EN71-3 certified finish to extend its protection.   Our products have been tested and made to be UKCA conformant as suitable for children aged 3 years and over that are no longer mouthing their toys due to the risk of small parts forming if the product breaks and the base wood has not been tested.
