The Scottish Wildcat is an endangered native of the Scottish Highlands similar looking but a bit larger than a domestic tabby cat. They have distinctive rings of black stripes to their tails which ends with a blunt bushy black tip and the cats stripes are mostly whole unlike the domestic tabby. These are very hidden away animals and most sightings we've personally heard of are unconfirmed rumours, closest we've got is potential footprints in the snow. These cats are very rare and its important in areas with them to protect them from interbreeding with domestic cats along with protecting their teritory from humans.

The Wildcat figures have been reduced in price slightly as we plan to update the colours used for these in the future as feel these are slightly too orangey. Pouncing and Sitting Wildcat Kitten figures will be available soon in seperate listings.

Ours is made of Lime wood and measures approximately 12cm long, 7.2cm high and 2.8cm thick. Each of our figures is cut out and then shaped by hand followed by hand sanding, painting and sealing making each one an individual character and therefore will differ slightly from the product images shown. Minor wood imperfections, carving misshaping, manufacturing marks and paint errors are not seen as flaws but as enhancing each items individual character, please bear in mind you are purchasing a handmade product.

Our items are made and tested to be UKCA conformant for those aged 3 years and over who are no longer mouthing toys, this is due to the risk of small parts forming if broken and our base wood not having been tested. You can clean your figure by wiping it gently with a soft lint free damp cloth and occasionally caring for it by applying a child safe clear wax or other EN71-3 certified finish to help protect it further.

Price shown is per individual item.

Warning: Small parts choking hazard not suitable from under 36months!
