We have a variety of tall two piece caves or bushes available, the current options are Summer Green (darker green inner piece), Autumnal (orange, brown and green outer with brown inner) and Ice Cave (mixture of blues overlaid with white and a coat of shimmer glaze, the inner piece is slightly darker blues). The inner piece of the Autumnal and Summer Green bushes has engraved branch details on one side (see 2nd, 3rd and last image). The 'tunnel' section of this toy can be used as a hiding place for other small figures, our Wee Standing Gnome figure has been designed to fit in this gap (approximately 5.5cm tall by 2.75cm wide). This wooden toy is made of Lime wood and measures approximately 9.5/10cm tall, 6.25cm wide and 2.8cm thick. The inner section is roughly 5.5cm tall by 2.75cm wide and the same thickness. This wooden toy bush has been cut out, then shaped by hand carving before hand sanding, staining and sealing making each piece a little unique in character and so will differ slightly from the images shown. Please bear this in mind that you are purchasing a handcrafted product and minor manufacturing marks, paint errors or carving mishaps are not seen as flaws but as enhancing the individual nature of our wooden toys.
Like all our wooden figures it can be gently wiped clean using a slightly damp lint free cloth and we would recommend in the future resealing with a suitable EN71-3 certified child safe clear wax or other suitable finish to further extend its protection.
We make and test our wooden toys to be UKCA conformant for ages 3 and over who no longer mouth their toys. This is due to our base wood not being chemically tested and the risk of small parts forming if broken. All the stains, paints and sealers we use for our wooden figures are certified EN71-3 as child safe.
