Here is our witch ready to cast spells and fly off on her broomstick, or possibly just someone who likes pointed hats and wants to sweep their floor. This is not a scary character more a wise woman living at peace with her natural surroundings, like in waldorf tradition her features and details are kept minimal to encourage the childs own imagination in play.
 
The witch is made from Lime wood and measures approximately 4.5cm wide by 15cm tall and 2.8cm thick across their front. Like all our products it has been cut out and then shaped and sanded by hand before hand staining and painting, making each one individual in character and so will differ slightly from the images shown. Please bear in mind you are purchasing a handcrafted product and minor making marks, carving misshaping and small paint flaws are not seen as errors but as part of their individual character.
 
Along with our other products it has been made and tested to be UKCA conformant for those aged 3 years and over who no longer mouth their toys due to the risk of small parts forming if broken and the base wood not being tested. It can be cleaned gently using a soft damp lint free cloth and like all wooden products could benefit in future from the occasional application of a child safe EN71-3 certified clear wax or other sealer to further protect it.
